In February 2020 we held our first international workshop of the COMBAT AMR in Africa Network titled "Global threat yet local problem - antimicrobial resistance in sub-Saharan Africa" at the Hirsch Institute of Tropical Medicine in Asella, Ethiopia.
The COMBAT AMR Network is consisting of 6 different German-African-Partnersites. Take a look here for our partnersites. The Hirsch Institute of Tropical Medicine, operated by the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectious Diseases at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany in cooperation with Arsi University Asella, Ethiopia, coordinates the AMR Networks Website.
